About Amare Group

Amare Group exists to build consumer brands Filipinos can trust—brands that perform consistently, earn credibility over time, and improve everyday life.

About Zenith

Zenith is a brand under the Amare Group portfolio that creates premium, high-performance self-care solutions for busy, mature Filipino men. Our goal is to become the #1 DTC premium men’s self-care brand in the Philippines.

Role Overview

Are you a results-driven video editor with a passion for creating high-performing eCommerce content? Join us as we build the future of men’s wellness in the Philippines, starting with skincare. Our vision is to become the #1 premium men’s wellness brand in the Philippines by 2026, and we need a talented video editor to help us achieve that goal.

As an eCommerce Video Editor, you will be responsible for bringing scripts and concepts to life through video. Our creative strategists develop the messaging and direction; your job is to execute those ideas at a high level, making smart visual choices that maximize ad performance. Your primary focus will be producing videos that perform well in our advertising campaigns – this is the ultimate measure of success in this role.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a performance-driven startup culture, work remotely, and contribute directly to the company’s success. Video editors who excel in this role and demonstrate strategic thinking have a clear path to promotion into Creative Strategist positions.

What Sets Great Editors Apart

You’ll receive scripts and creative direction from our strategists. But the best editors we’ve worked with don’t just follow instructions mechanically-they understand why certain visual choices work better than others.

When a strategist says “make the hook punchy” or “this section needs more urgency,” a great editor knows what that actually means in terms of:

  • Cut timing and pacing
  • Which clip to choose when you have multiple options
  • When to hold on a shot vs. when to cut away
  • How visual rhythm affects viewer attention

This comes from understanding basic principles of attention and persuasion, not because you need to be a psychologist, but because it makes you a sharper, faster editor. When you understand why something works, you don’t need to be told exactly what to do every time.

We don’t expect you to create strategy. We expect you to execute strategy intelligently –  and when we ask “why did you cut here?” or “why this clip instead of that one?” , you should be able to give answers backed by real data and/or research.

Job Responsibilities

Video Production & Editing (Primary)

  • Create complete video advertisements by combining clips, transitions, and effects that align with the script’s intent
  • Produce multiple variations of video components (hooks, bodies, CTAs) to enable comprehensive testing
  • Develop both new videos and iterations of existing content to optimize performance
  • Generate Al voiceovers and clips to deliver scripts professionally
  • Execute creative direction from strategists while making smart visual decisions within that framework
  • Deliver edits and revisions within agreed timelines to support rapid testing and scaling
  • Apply brand guidelines consistently across all edits and variations
  • Ensure all video assets are launch-ready by meeting platform specifications (aspect ratios, length, safe zones, captions) and following established naming conventions, formats, and delivery deadlines

Content Sourcing & Asset Management

  • Source high-quality b-roll and video clips from stock providers and online platforms
  • Utilize Al video generation tools (Runway, Veo, Flux, etc.) to create custom b-roll and visual content
  • Stay updated on new editing and AI tools that can improve speed or output quality
  • Maintain an organized library of video assets for efficient access by the entire team

Performance Support

  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand which videos are performing and why
  • Suggest workflow improvements that increase creative throughput
  • Create video variations based on strategist feedback to overcome performance challenges
  • Learn to read performance data (hook rate, hold rate, CTR) and understand how your editing choices affect these metrics

Production Expectation

Key Performance Indicators (KPls)
  1. Ad spend of your videos = your videos must be hitting our targets every month. This helps us measure the quality of the creatives performance-wise.
    • Every month, there will be 3-4 ad spend tiers to reach (could change depending on the business focus, strategy, and needs).
  1. Capacity contribution index = actual minutes/targeted minutes

15 Minutes Worth of Video Scripts Finished Weekly

This could take various forms depending on our campaign needs (e.g. new videos involving complete production from scratch or variations and iterations involving modifying specific sections of existing videos to test and optimize performance.)

  • Example Scenario 1: Five 3-minute product videos showcasing different benefits
  • Example Scenario 2: Three 5-minute testimonial or educational videos
  • Example Scenario 3: Fifteen 1-minute ads with different messaging angles
  • Or any mix that turns into a total of 15 minutes net new videos produced for the week.

We use the voiceover length or thereadtime tool to determine how long the script is. Lastly, “finished” is defined as a video that has been approved by the senior creative strategist or copywriter for launch as ads.

Remember: The ultimate goal is creating videos that perform well in advertising. These minutes are simply the minimum capacity requirement that we expect from the role.

Editors who consistently hit KPIs, meet the minimum capacity and quality standards, and are always on-time – for 2 months straight – may opt in to higher capacity tiers (e.g., 17, 20 / 22 / 25 minutes worth of video scripts finished per week) to accelerate their pay progression.

Capacity tiers are optional and must be achievable within standard work hours; they do not replace KPIs as the primary measure of success.

KPI = outcomes, minutes = capacity lever.

  • Bonus: Familiarity with direct response principles, consumer psychology, or creative strategy frameworks (Cialdini, Hormozi, etc.). Not required, but a strong signal that you’ll ramp up faster.
